LEVEL 5 DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (QCF)
The Level 5 Diploma in Business Administration is awarded by IBT Qualifications. The Level 5 Diploma in Business Administration (QCF) emphasis on a broad range of highly relevant business and management subject areas, making it ideal for those who have started, or are planning to move into, a career in private of public sector business. Students will learn the balance of academic and vocational subjects in order for them gain the necessary knowledge and skills to play a significant role in business organisations.
Most importantly, the units within Level-5 Diploma in Business Administration are focused on developing effective business support relationships with clients, enabling the client to analyse the business and implement change, developing business support networks, reflective practice and development in business support and monitoring the business support service.
This qualification requires the learner to obtain a minimum of 120 credits. This will be achieved through the completion of eight units (worth 120 credits).
Candidates must accomplish the following eight units.

- Business Strategy
- Human Resources Management
- Managing Financial Resources and Decisions
- Aspects of Contract and Negligence for Business
- Business Decision Making
- Marketing Planning
- Managing People
- Learners aged 16 years and over and
- A levels or equivalent related Level 3 qualification Other related level 3 qualifications or Related work experience
- Level- 3 or Level-4 Diploma awarded by IBT Qualifications
- International students whose first language is not in English, they will need to have score of 5.5 or above in IELTS Examination or equivalent.
- Students can alternatively take English test conducted by IBT Qualifications’ approved centers.
The delivering Centre will internally assess all units. The units are all assessed by coursework assignments. Student will need to show that they meet each of the assessment criteria detailed within each unit, to the required standard for the level of the unit.
Diploma Certificates will be awarded following assessment of the candidate’s course works. A qualified tutor will examine the evidence and make a decision, which is verified by the external verifier and passed for certification. To be awarded the certificates, candidate must pass all the eight units. Candidates need to achieve 40% mark in order to pass each unit.
